Gallery

The gallery is a place for all of us to show (off :-) our talents and skills in SVG graphics crafting . Feel free to send me your most beautifull pieces of artwork so I can put them in the gallery for everybody to see them.

Jay Nick, an applied technology engineer, has made an incredible application of SVG:

One week ago I was looking for a way to expand a graphic that had text on it that would not distort the text synthroid. I found SVG . I saw the possibilities for this technology in real-time control systems and decided to prove the concept . Here is a link to our Web site that shows SVG's potential as an HMI for real-time systems:

A GIF snapshot of his amazing animation .

I wish Jay had the time to write a little article on how he made this animation clomid. It looks like the numbers are refreshed in real time: how come ?
Congratulation, this is surely the most impressive SVG graphic I've ever seen so far.

Thanks to Andreas Rydberg for that fade-in cross.

GIF snapshot of the SVG file (22 ko of XML)
Neat drawing in SVG. No fancy functionality or effect, just plain still SVG. Do you think software like AutoCad will give up their proprietary format and take SVG instead? Surely not, SVG is not precise enough, in term of description of the objects it shows. No, the best approach would be for AutoDesk to switch their file format to XML. Rendering an XML map into SVG would then simply require an XSLT stylesheet. Getting the picture?
